Did Germany just kill the electric car?

Not for the first time, Berlin has had a last-minute change of heart and blocked a deal to ban the sale of internal combustion engine (ICE) cars in the EU from 2035. However, a plan to allow ICE cars that run on hydrogen-derived e-fuels could stimulate a market with big potential.
