Life, Physical, and Social Science Occupations drive power industry hiring activity
Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Life, Physical, and Social Science Occupations, which accounted for 5% of the total new job postings in Q3 2023 and were up by 125% year-on-year. Second highest were Office and Administrative Support Occupations, which accounted for 2% and drop by 48% year-on-year, and third highest were Business and Financial Operations Occupations, which were 41% of the new job postings and 61% lower year-on-year.
Top five companies in power industry accounted for 87% of hiring activity
The highest number of jobs were posted by Raizen with 1,310, followed by CPFL Energia with 736, while the highest increase was at Energisa at 75%.
