Spain based power equipment manufacturer Gamesa has received two new wind turbine supply orders in China.

The first order for 50MW has been awarded to Gamesa by Hebei Construction & Investment Group (HCIG), while the second one for 48MW is from Fujian Energy.

According to the deal with HCIG, the Spanish firm will be responsible for supply, installation and commissioning of 25 of its G97-2.0 MW turbines at the Senjitu II wind farm, which is located in Hebei province in south-west Peking.

Scheduled to be delivered within 2015, the order is a part of the contract signed by the two parties in September 2014 which includes supply provision for 150MW.

Under the terms of the contract signed with Fujian Energy, Gamesa will deliver, install and commission 24 of its G97-2.0MW turbines at the Dingyanshan wind farm in Fujian province.

Gamesa is expected to deliver the turbines within the fourth quarter of 2015 following which those will be commissioned by year end.

The Spanish company has also assembled 48MW Dahanshan wind farm for Fujian Energy, from whom it had secured orders for 130MW supply.

Gamesa had secured supply orders for 450MW of power equipment in 2014 from the Chinese market. Till date, the firm has an installed capacity of over 3,570 MW in China with around 960MW under maintenance.
