Global solar PV equipment manufacturer ReneSola, in collaboration with Community Energy, installed its Virtus II PV modules to power the roof-top solar array installed at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The rooftop system, which was built at the university’s main football practice facility Edberg-Olson Hall, features 268 ReneSola 60-cell high efficiency Virtus II PV modules totalling around 63kW of PV power.
The system will supply its output to the Community Energy customers, while groSolar is the supplier of technology and equipment for the project.
ReneSola America president Kevin Chen said the company has partnered with Community Energy and is confident that its products and service will continue to exceed expectations.
