Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex has won a contract to supply and install nine N100/2500 series wind turbines for Orla wind farm in Poland.
The 37.5MW Orla wind farm will be constructed in two phases, with the first phase involving nine turbines, slated for delivery soon and enter operation as early as December.

The second phase includes installation of six turbines which are expected to be ordered and commissioned by the middle of 2015.
Nordex SE management board member Lars Bondo Krogsgaard said: "This is going to be the first realisation from our pipeline of own developed projects in Poland. It is a good illustration of how Nordex can provide more value to the market with quality projects."
Owned by C&C Wind, an international private-equity investors and an independent power producer, the wind farm is financed largely by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The wind farm can generate an annual energy of up to 10GWh, resulting in a capacity factor of an above-average 33%.
