The 165MW offshore wind farm will be located 45km off the coast of Zeebrugge, Belgium and it will feature 50 wind turbines.

The 1,100 ton substation will convert the 33 kV voltage produced by the turbines into 220 kV voltage.

The power generated from the farm will be then transmitted through a sea cable wind field which the company shares with North Wind. Bladt/Semco-team had supplied a substation to North wind project last year.

Bladt Industries along with its partner Semco Maritime has been given the responsibility to construct the substation while Bladt will handle the steel construction work at the top side of the substation along with the EPCI of the substation.
