Description

The project was developed by Korea Western Power, Shinsung Solar Eenergy, SK D&D and SolarPark Korea. The project is currently owned by Korea Western Power.

Youngam F1 Solar Power Plant is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 2,226,000 square meters.

The project generates 18,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 5,000 households.

Development status

The project got commissioned in December 2012.

Contractors involved

SK D&D was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

SolarPark Korea was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 23,000 modules at the site.
