The project is being developed by FPT Energia e Ambiente and Gestamp Biomass. The project is currently owned by Marguerite Fund with a stake of 90% and FPT Energia e Ambiente.
The project is expected to generate 120GWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 40,000 households.
The process of combustion will be adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Forest residue which is a kind of agricultural by-product will be used as a feedstock to power the project.
