Tohoku Electric Power, TotalEnergies and SB Energy Holdings are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 45%, 45% and 10% respectively.
Toshiba Kurokawa Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 694,000 square meters.
The project generates 56,400MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 15,600 households.

The project construction commenced in 2019 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in October 2021.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Tohoku Electric Power under a power purchase agreement at the rate of $0.28kWh from 2021. The contracted capacity is 37.5MWh.

Takenaka and Toshiba Plant Systems & Services were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
SunPower was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 115,920 modules each with 445W of nameplate capacity.
