Description

The project is developed and owned by Chubu Electric Power.

Tokuyama is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 660 million cubic meter. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 1 in number. The penstock length is 900m. The penstock diameter is 5m. The project generated 300 GWh of electricity.

Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions was selected as the generator supplier for the hydro power project. The project consists of 2 generators.
