Description

The project is co-owned by BlackRock and Exus Management Partners, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

Santarem Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 50 hectares.

The project generates 46GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 11,000 households, offsetting 12,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Axpo Iberia under a power purchase agreement for a period of 8 years from 2020. The contracted capacity is 24MW.
