Description

The project was developed by First Wind Holdings. JP Morgan Infrastructure Investment Fund and Cook Inlet Region are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 30,000 households, offsetting 205,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in December 2012.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Avista under a power purchase agreement for a period of 30 years. The contracted capacity is 40MW.

Contractors involved

Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 58 units of V100-1.8 MW turbines, each with 1.8MW nameplate capacity.
