Description
The project was developed by Fisterra Energy, Maetel and Zuma Energia S.A. de. The project is currently owned by China Power International Holding with a stake of 100%.
Orejana Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 300 hectares.
The project generates 379GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 47,410 households, offsetting 163,808t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The project consists of 487,440 modules, each with 325W nameplate capacity.

The project construction commenced in 2017 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in February 2019.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Comision Federal de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement.
