Description
The project was developed by Duke Energy Renewables. Duke Energy Renewables and Manulife Financial are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.
The project generates 226,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 46,000 households, offsetting 139,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The power generated from the project is sold to Wal-Mart de Mexico SAB de CV under a power purchase agreement for a period of 4 years, starting from 2009.

Notrees (Notrees A) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V82-1.65 MW turbines. The phase consists of 55 turbines with 1.65MW nameplate capacity.
Notrees (Notrees B) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy turbines. The phase consists of 40 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
Notrees (Notrees C) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems turbine. The phase consists of 1 turbine with 1.87MW nameplate capacity.
Vestas UpWind Solutions and Vestas Wind Systems were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
