Description
China Huaneng Group, Yunnan Development Investment and Yunnan Hongta Group are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 56%, 31.4% and 12.6% respectively.
Manwan is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 920 million cubic meter. The gross head and net head of the project are 100m and 69.3m respectively.
Development status
The project construction commenced in 1986 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 1993.

The power generated from the project is sold to China Southern Power Grid under a power purchase agreement.
