Description
The project was developed by EnBW Energie Baden-Wurttemberg. Macquarie Group, EnBW Energie Baden-Wurttemberg and PGGM are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 49.89%, 25.05% and 25.05% respectively.
The wind turbines in the EnBW Baltic II Phase I are installed on fixed foundations. An array of monopile foundations feature in the phase.
The wind turbines in the EnBW Baltic II Phase II are installed on fixed foundations. An array of three-legged jacket foundations feature in the phase.
The project generates 1,200,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 340,000 households, offsetting 900,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Contractors involved
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 80 units of SWT-3.6-120 turbines, each with 3.6MW nameplate capacity.
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project, commencing from the year 2015.
