The project is being developed by Forestalia Renovables and Repsol Electricidad y Gas. The project is currently owned by Repsol Electricidad y Gas with a stake of 100%.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 800,000 households, to offset 2,600,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Delta 2 Wind Farm (Delta 2 Wind Farm II) will be equipped with GE Renewable Energy turbines. The phase consists of 22 turbines, each with 6.1MW nameplate capacity.
