Description

The project was developed by Guodian Dadu River Hydropower Development. GD Power Development, China Energy Investment and Sichuan Chuantou Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 69%, 21% and 10% respectively.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 742 million cubic meter. The gross head and net head of the project are 178m and 160m respectively. The project generated 11,450 GWh of electricity.

The project construction commenced in 2005 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2015.

Contractors involved

Voith Hydro Shanghai was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 units of francis turbines, each with 650MW nameplate capacity.

Dongfang Electric supplied 4 electric generators for the project.
