Description
The project was developed by JERA Power (Thailand) and Pt Cirebon Electric Power. Marubeni, PT Indika Energy, ST International, JERA and Korea Midland Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 35%, 25%, 20%, 10% and 10% respectively.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant.
Development status
The project got commissioned in July 2012.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the Cirebon Power Plant (Cirebon Power Plant Phase I) is sold to PT PLN (Persero) under a power purchase agreement for a period of 30 years.
The power generated from the Cirebon Power Plant (Cirebon Power Plant Phase II) is sold to PT PLN (Persero) under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.

Hyundai Engineering & Construction was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Cirebon Power Plant (Cirebon Power Plant Phase II) project. Mitsubishi Power was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Cirebon Power Plant (Cirebon Power Plant Phase II) project. Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Cirebon Power Plant (Cirebon Power Plant Phase II) project.
The Coal fired project have been supplied by Doosan Enerbility and Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions.
