Description

The project is being developed by Keppel and is currently owned by Changshu Pufa Thermoelectric Energy.

The electricitiy generated from the plant will offset 55,481t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The process of combustion will be adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Municipal solid waste will be used as a feedstock to power the project.
