Description

The project is being developed by Georgetown Hills Renewable Energy, Pacific Hydro and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Australia. Georgetown Hills Renewable Energy and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy Australia are currently owning the project.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 179,000 households, to offset 688,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The Tubular Steel structure to be installed at the project site are expected to be 102.5m high.

Development status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2023.

Contractors involved

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The wind power project consists of 45 turbines.
