The project is being developed by Avaada Energy. Avaada Energy and Global Renewable Synergy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 57.07% and 42.93% respectively.
The project is expected to generate 750,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 500,000 households. The project is expected to offset 698,250t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2024.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Damodar Valley under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.
