Description

The project is being developed by KNK Wind and Parkwind. The project is currently owned by Parkwind with a stake of 100%.

The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 300,000 households. The project will be spread over an area of 30km². The turbines will be mounted on fixed xxl monopile foundations and will be interconnected by 33kV inter-array cable.

The turbines that are getting installed on the project will be using Tubular Steel towers.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.

Contractors involved

Vestas Offshore Wind will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 27 units of V174-9.5 MW turbines, each with 9.5MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Offshore Wind is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project for a period of 15 years.
