Toyota Motor is one of the leading patent filers in H2 storage pressure vessels. In March 2022, Toyota Motor announced that it developed a hydrogen storage module that integrates multiple resin high-pressure hydrogen tanks at 70 MPa for automobiles. Some other key patent filers in the space include Honda Motor, Hyundai Motor, and General Motors.
