RGS Energy, a commercial and utility division of Real Goods Solar and BlueWave Capital plan to construct four new solar farms in Massachusetts, US.
RGS will take the responsibility of designing, installation, monitoring and maintenance of four systems totaling 3.5MW.

The projects, which are expected to begin construction in March 2014, will be completed in June 2014.
To generate around 4.5 million kilowatt-hours of solar electricity annually, the fixed array ground mount solar systems will be designed.
RGS said that the projects will help Massachusetts to reach its goal of 1,600MW of solar power installations by 2020.
RGS Energy general manager Tim Seamans said the company is proud to provide experience and expertise in building solar farms in Massachusetts through collaboration with BlueWave Capital.

BlueWave Capital has around 70MW of solar projects under development in the US and an additional 50MW of projects under development in South Africa and the Caribbean.
Real Goods Solar, which installed around 16,000 solar power systems, provides a comprehensive solar solution from design, financing, permitting and installation to ongoing monitoring, maintenance and support.
