Vestas, a Danish turbine manufacturer, has won a turbine supply contract from Energy Absolute for the 126MW Had Kanghan project in Thailand.
This deal requires Vestas to supply 70 units of the V110-1.8 MW turbine for the project located in the provinces of Songkla and Nakhon Si Thamarat.

The contract comprises the supply, supervision of erection, and commissioning of the turbines, besides a five-year AOM 4000 service deal.
The turbines will be supplied in 2016, which is when the wind farm is expected to become operational.
