Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has secured a turnkey contract from Italian renewable company Enel for its 90MW Talinay Oriente project in Chile.
The company will supply 30 of its V90 2.0MW turbines and 15 of the V100 2.0MW ones to Enel to be installed at the project that is located in the Limari province.

Scope of the turnkey contract all includes installation and civil and electrical services.
Vestas will also handle the service and maintenance of the wind turbines for a 3-year term under the active output management mode.
Enel is expected to comission the farm by March 2013 and the turnkey contract is the second one with Enel for a Chilean project.
The two companies earlier singed a 90MW agreement for 45 V100 2.0MW turbines for the Valle de los Vientos project.
