Vestas has bagged an order from China Guangdong Nuclear (CGN) to supply wind turbines for the 50MW fourth phase of the Mishan project in China

The value of the contract has not been disclosed.

Under the terms of the contract, Vestas will supply install and commission V90-2.0 MW wind turbines, a Vestas Online SCADA system and will also provide maintenance services for two years.

Vestas China president Jens Tommerup said "We are very proud to have built this series of wind power plants with CGN, and to have delivered as promised."

The delivery of the fourth phase is scheduled in the third quarter of 2012.

Earlier in 2010, CGN awarded Vestas the first two phases of the Mishan project and subsequently the third phase as well.
The total capacity of the entire Mishan project amounts to 200MW.

With the completion of the fourth phase of the Mishan project, CGN’s fleet of Vestas turbines will amount to more than 900MW.

CGN’s other projects; the 300MW Hongji project and the 110MW Shangchuandao project are also using Vestas V52-850 kW turbines.
