Gehrlicher Solar America and Valos Solar Ventures together have announced that the two companies have joined forced to co-develop 235MW solar projects for the investor owned and municipal owned utilities in California.
As per the strategic joint-development agreement both the companies will develop sites for Pacific and Gas Electric Company (PG&E), Southern California Edison (SCE), San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E).

Gehrlicher will provide engineering, procurement, and construction services for the utility-scale PV.
Valos and Gehrlicher will also develop sites for municipal utilities for their request for offers (RFO), renewable auction mechanism (RAM) and renewable request for proposals (RFPs) as well as the recently approved Virtual Net Metering Bill SB 843.

The sites for the development of the solar projects are situated in high irradiance locations with Interconnect capacity availability.
