Germany-based supplier of wind turbines, Suzlon, through its subsidiary REpower Systems, has signed a contract to supply eight wind turbines to Romania.
PE DEUS EX SRL, a project company of WSB International, will receive the turbines for a wind farm project near Margineni, Vietnam, projected to be constructed and commissioned by the last quarter of 2013.

The Repower 3.2M114 turbines have a capacity of 3.2MW, a hub height of 93m and a rotor diameter of 114m each.
REpower Systems Romania managing director Jan Gasche said that the project, with WSB International, is the company’s first project in Romania.
"The Romanian market boasts tremendous potential that we naturally want to take advantage of for REpower in the coming years," Gasche added.
WSB International managing director Stefan Hain noted that REpower is a reliable and important partner for the company in the implementation of wind farm projects.

Previously, REpower concluded several contracts for projects in Poland and the Czech Republic with the parent company and owner, WSB Neue Energien GmbH.
Suzlon Group has set up REpower Systems as its most recent subsidiary to manufacture onshore and offshore wind turbines.
