Saxlund International managing director Christoph Groffmann said the company’s modern equipments and experience in delivering biomass handling systems is instrumental in ensuring high availability and efficiency for its customers.
"By building on existing infrastructure and adding a biomass co-firing element to fossil-fueled power plants there is much to be gained both from an environmental and economic perspective," Groffmann added.
"With the upcoming transition of the German power supply to renewables we see large opportunities for these kind of projects."
The delivery of the systems will be carried out in 2012 and 2013 and commissioning in December 2013.
