By GlobalDataUnder the terms of the agreement, Power Machines will produce ten hydropower turbines, nine 640 MW hydropower generators and six excitation systems.
Four excitation systems and one new generator were produced and installed at the plant after completing the renovation work in 2010.
The plant’s efficiency has reached 96.6% and the useful life of the units has been extended to 40 years and the companies also improve the energy and cavitation features of the plant.
A protection system will be fitted on the turbines which will shut down the unit in case of any deviations from the controlled parameters.
