Ormat Nevada, under the contract, will supply two air-cooled Ormat Energy Converters for the geothermal project.
Ormat president and COO Yoram Bronicki said the company had deployed similar equipment to a myriad of projects worldwide and it intends to continue reinforcing the track record in established and new markets.
"This development will incorporate Ormat’s low-operating-cost design and our consistent project completion standards," Bronicki added.
The two companies had earlier entered into an interim agreement for an amount of about $9m to complete the project in time.
