
Nordex has won three contracts for wind farms with a total capacity of 45MW in Turkey.
The firm will deploy seven N117/3000 turbines close to the city of Izmir in Western Turkey for its new customer Üçgen Rüzgar Enerjisi Elektrik Üretim Anonim Sirketi.

The Delta series turbine is believed to ideal in conditions with average wind speeds of 8.5 m/s.
It is also delivering four Delta turbines to a new customer, called Süper Enerji, for the "Çataltepe" wind farm near Istanbul.
This is Süper Enerji’s first project in the wind power segment. Süper Enerji is a member of Süper Group, which is involved in textile, construction, tourism, geothermal and hydropower energy business.
Nordex’s third order is from REA Elektrik. According to the agrement, Nordex will have to deploy five N117/2400 turbines for the "Zincirli" wind farm. Following the "Kurtkayasi" and "Yahyali" projects, this is the third contract Nordex received for a wind farm in the province in Kayseri. The N117/2400 turbine is believed to be ideal for the light-wind conditions prevailing at this location.
