juwi solar (JSI) has completed a 3.8 megawatt solar photovoltaic energy facility, Mill Creek Solar Farm, in Burlington Township, New Jersey, US.
Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) owns the solar farm, which is developed under PSE&G’s Solar 4 All programme.
The facility includes rights to all of the electricity generated and 100% of the Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SRECs) associated with the system.
PSE&G Renewables and Energy Solutions vice president Al Matos said New Jersey has some of the most aggressive solar goals in the country and has become a leading state for solar development in a very short time.
"Our Solar 4 All program is helping the state reach these goals by partnering with experienced developers like juwi to build projects like the Mills Creek Solar Farm," Matos said.

By GlobalDataJSI has been selected by PSE&G to perform all of the design, engineering, procurement and construction services for the 25-acre, ground-mounted solar facility, which consists of Solar Frontier-supplied 29,400 fixed-tilt thin-film photovoltaic modules.
About 5,500 megawatt-hours of zero-emissions electricity generation is expected from the project per year, which is enough to power approximately 600 average-size homes in New Jersey.
The solar farm is also expected to offset about 2,900t of greenhouse gas pollution per year, according to US Environmental Protection Agency estimates.
The Mill Creek Solar Farm is JSI’s first project to be built on behalf of PSE&G and second in New Jersey.
JSI has worked for PSE&G’s non-utility affiliate PSEG Solar Source to build three projects in the US, while started construction on a fourth project for PSEG Solar Source in Queen Creek, Arizona.
