The spokesperson enlisted the current renewable projects in the state as – a 6MW hydro project at Dadupur; 2MW project in Karnal; 1.4MW small hydro project at Musapur and 1.4 MW small hydro project at Khukni, had all started power generation.
A 1.8MW project at Meham Cooperative Sugar Mill, 24MW project at Shahbad Cooperative Sugar Mill, 16MW project at Rohtak Cooperative Sugar Mill and 2MW project at Hafed Cooperative Sugar Mill have been set up to produce power from the bagasse in Sugar Mills through cogeneration route.
Eight solar projects of a cumulative 7.8MW capacity have also been commissioned in the state, developed under the Jawahar Lal Nehru National Solar Mission.
