Vestas has secured a supply contract from Inner Mongolia Huitong Energy Zhuozi Wind Power for the 52MW phase II of the Bayinzile wind farm in China.
Scope of the contract includes the supply of 26 units of V80 2MW turbines, which will be deployed in the Wulanchabu area of Inner Mongolia.

The turbine delivery is scheduled to take place in the third quarter of 2015.
Vestas Asia Pacific and China president Chris Beaufait said: "The strong and steady performance of Vestas turbines is a key factor in our winning this new order from Huitong.
"We look forward to continued cooperation with Huitong to maximise the energy production and revenue generation from their wind power investment."
Vestas has already provided 24 V80-2MW turbines for the phase I of Bayinzile project.

It also includes a two-year servicing and maintenance agreement.
Earlier in October, Vestas secured a 50MW wind turbine order in China from the privately held investment firm Hanas.
The contract requires Vestas to deliver 25 V100-2MW turbines for a project in Ningxia province, northwest China.
Vestas deployed its initial wind turbines in China in 1986. The company’s largest global manufacturing complex in Tianjin manufactures generators, blades, nacelles, hubs and control systems.
As of 30 June 2014, Vestas has installed over 4,300MW of turbines in China.
