Global wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has won an order to supply 28 wind turbines including 18 units of V100-2.0MW and ten units of V110-2.0MW to Energix Renewable Energies’ Kozielice wind park in Poland.
Energix, through its subsidiary, Wiatromil, has placed the order to install 56MW capacity at the Kozielice wind park, which will help in expanding the capacity of the facility.

The deal includes delivery, installation as well as a 15-year Active Output Management (AOM) 5000 service agreement.
The commissioning of the expansion of Kozielice wind park is expected to be finalised by the end of the second quarter of this year.
Energix CEO Asa Levinger said: "Based on our previous experience with Vestas, we value the high product quality and reliability of Vestas’ 2 MW platform as well as Vestas’ track record for on-time installations.
"We are pleased to further strengthen our relationship with Vestas for this project and potentially for other projects of Energix Group in Poland and in other places."

By GlobalDataThe 50MW Kozielice wind farm was constructed last year and Vestas had supplied its turbines that fall in 2MW category to the farm.
Vestas Northern Europe president Klaus Steen Mortensen said: "In 2015 we installed more than 750MW of turbines in Poland while meeting strict project deadlines.
"This order shows that our customers continuously trust our ability to deliver a strong business case within a short period of time."
Recently, Vestas has secured a 15-year extension to a service agreement for four wind power facilities, with a total capacity of 570MW, in California, US.
