Vestas has secured a deal to supply six of its V126-3.45MW turbines at Serveone’s wind power farm situated on Jaeun Island in Jeonnam province, South Korea.
The 21MW order from Vestas’ new customer Serveone includes supply and supervision of installation as well as a ten-year active output management 4000 (AOM4000) service contract, under which Vestas will ensure performance of its products.
Besides, the deal incorporates supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) VestasOnline Business system for data-driven monitoring and preventive maintenance.
Delivery of the turbines is expected to begin by the end of this year.
Once completed, the wind farm will be the first South Korean project to feature Vestas’ V126-3.45MW turbines.

So far, Vestas has installed around 275MW of turbines across South Korea.
