Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas has selected CETOL 6 Sigma tolerance analysis solution and GD&T Advisor designed by US-based software solutions provider Sigmetrix.
According to the company, Sigmetrix’ software solution will be helpful in designing Dimensional Management programme to enhance the development and production of reliable and cost-effective wind turbines.

Vestas engineering integration vice president Carl Erik Skjølstrup said the company is giving importance to the making of quality wind turbines.
"CETOL 6 Sigma and GD&T Advisor will play an integral part in improving our design robustness and the quality of wind energy solutions as well as optimizing our design and manufacturing goals," Skjølstrup added.
"We look forward to working with Sigmetrix and ARIADNE as we initiate the enhancements to our R&D and quality production program for Dimensional Management."
Sigmetrix’s CETOL 6 Sigma tolerance analysis software is said to enable product development teams to manufacture products by applying advanced mathematical solutions.
