Yingli Green Energy’s (YGE) Turkish subsidiary, Yingli Green Energy Enerji Urunleri San (Yingli Turkey) has been selected to supply multicrystalline PV modules to Tekno Ray Solar Enerji Sistemleri (Tekno Ray Solar).
Under the contract, Yingli Turkey will provide 30MW of Yingli Solar modules to Tekno Ray Solar in instalments from the second quarter of 2014 through the first quarter of 2015.
Tekno Company Union executive board chairman Altay Coskunoglu said, "We selected Yingli Solar because of the company’s strong brand and high-performance, high-quality product,"
Yingli Green Energy South East Europe director Dimitrios Bachadakis said, "Yingli Solar’s global experience and market leadership are an asset to Tekno Ray Solar, one of Turkey’s leading PV project developers. Establishing partnerships with Turkey’s leading PV project investors is a key driver of our strategy."
The high quality YGE Series modules are scheduled to be installed in several large scale solar projects in the southern part of Turkey.
Yingli Green Energy chairman and chief executive officer Liansheng Miao said Yingli is looking forward to strengthen its presence in high-potential solar energy market.
