The Boguchanskaya hydropower plant is a 50/50 joint venture (JV) between RusHydro and UC RUSAL.

According to the company, the total installed capacity of all the units at the hydropower plant by the end of December is 1,998 MW, while the working capacity accounting for lower reservoir level is 1,362 MW.
In addition, the process of testing the ninth unit at the plant is currently under process.
This facility has generated around 4,367GWh of clean energy during January-November 2013 for wholesale electricity supply.
Construction on the Boguchanskaya hydropower plant has been resumed in May 2006 after RusHydro and UC RUSAL have entered into an agreement for the JV.
