Renewable Energy Systems (RES) has been awarded a contract to provide maintenance work on offshore renewable energy catapult met mast.
Under the contract, RES will deliver scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance and 24/7 remote operations for the structures, equipment and instrumentation systems including all work on the masts along with project management, data management and procurement of vessels and subcontractors.

RES Offshore CEO Chris Morgan said that the high quality data collection will be crucial to the success of the Blyth Offshore wind demonstration project.
"We look forward to working with the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult on this project and to supporting them as they expand the opportunities for future R&D projects at the met mast location," Morgan added.
RES Offshore will also ensure that O&M operations are conducted safely at Blyth and to the highest standards while helping to maximise the availability and quality of data collected from the mast.
