LG has introduced its efficient solar power system, NeON 2 solar energy solutions at the ongoing Intersolar Europe event in Munich, Germany.

The company said that it used Cello Technology for NeON 2 to achieve better reliability and improvements over the original NeON system.

The latest solar power solution by LG is capable of generating more amount of electricity on a sunny day and is capable of performing better on cloudy days due to the energy reduction in weak sunlight.

When compared to NeON, the NeON 2 has improved rigidity, reinforced frame design, and it uses n-type wafer modules that are more durable, the company claimed.

LG said that the 320W NeON 2 consists of 20 modules and generates 6.4 kWp capacity, which is much more than the power generated by the 285W p-type Mono.

The system is claimed to be easy to install and features Balance of System (B.O.S.) saving features, which is designed to reduce the total number of strings, based on its higher efficiency and lower voltage than 72-cell modules.
