JinkoSolar Holding has supplied 28.2MWdc of its solar PV modules to Swinerton Renewable Energy for the development of Jacumba Solar Project in San Diego County, California, US.
The solar project consists of over 80,000 JinkoSolar 1500 volt monocrystalline PERC modules. It was energised in August, seven months following the acquisition by BayWa r.e.
Swinerton Renewable Energy has provided engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) for the solar project.
JinkoSolar (US) general manager Nigel Cockroft said: "JinkoSolar has worked tirelessly to build and maintain its reputation as the most reliable module supplier in the utility market.
"Swinerton's decision to select Jinko for a project with an aggressive schedule is a testament to our ability to deliver on-time."
