Hanwha SolarOne announced that it has completed the supply of modules for two China Huaneng Group’s projects with an aggregate capacity of 50MW.
The modules were supplied to two separate utility-scale installations that include a 30MW in Qingtongxia of Ningxia Hui autonomous region (NHAR), and a 20MW project in Wuchuan of Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Hanwha SolarOne chief financial officer Jay Seo said the company has growing momentum in the China market including module supply and EPC projects.
"China is driving the development of PV solar projects throughout the country with new incentives and we are pleased to play a meaningful role in the country’s efforts to expand solar power," Seo added.
"We are pleased to have established our relationship with China Huaneng Group, one of China’s largest state-owned power companies and look forward to a growing relationship on other projects in the future."
Hanwha SolarOn, a subsidiary of Hanwha Group, serves the utility, commercial, government and residential markets through a growing network of third-party distributors, OEM manufacturers and system integrators.
