Spanish turbine manufacturer Gamesa has won two wind turbine contracts in China, with a combined generation capacity of 92MW.
According to the first contract, the firm will supply, install and commission 25 of its G97 2MW turbines at the Nandianziliang wind complex in the Shanxi province, China.

Hebei Construction & Investment Group (HCIG) is the developer for the project, for which the turbines are expected to be delivered by May 2015.
Commissioning of the plant is likely to be done later in the year.
Since 2008, Gamesa has delivered around 180MW to HCIG.
The second contract is with wind farm developer UPC, according to which Gamesa will supply, install and commission 21 of its G97 2MW turbines at the Huangyan wind project in Zhejiang province.

By GlobalDataGamesa plans to deliver the turbine units in April this year.
The Huangyan wind project is scheduled to be commissioned later in the year.
This contract is the first between the Spanish firm and UPC.
Gamesa started operations in China in 2000. In 2014, the firm had secured contracts to deliver 450MW of wind turbines in the country.
The company has installed over 3,500MW of turbines in China and offers its services for 1,000MW at present.
Over 30,000MW of installation have been done by Gamesa across in 45 countries. It has production facilities in Spain and China as well.
