Earlier this month, Gamesa agreed to divest the 28MW Barchín wind farm in Spain to China Huadian Corporation.

Gamesa said that the agreement with China Huadian marks one of the first wind farms developed in Spain to be sold in the wake of the new energy reforms.

So far, Gamesa has installed more than 30,000MW in around 45 countries and has its production centers in Spain and China. It also has its local production capacity in India, US, and Brazil.

Gamesa started operations in China in 2000 and has installed over 3,500MW and currently services almost 900MW.
