Denmark-based A2SEA has secured a contract to provide services to the £1.5bn Dudgeon offshore wind farm project in the UK.
Under the contract, A2SEA will deliver offshore installation vessel Sea Installer for the installation of 67 Siemens 6MW turbines.
Being developed by Statoil, Masdar and Statkraft, the 402MW wind farm is located 32km off the North Norfolk coast in water depths of 18m to 25m.
Statoil and Masdar each own 35% stake in the Dudgeon project while Statkraft holds the remaining interest.
The companies will initially build an onshore substation and lay cables on land before starting offshore construction in 2016.
A2SEA CEO Jens Frederik Hansen said: "We have great experience with installation of the 6MW Siemens turbine from two former projects, and our skilled teams both on board SEA INSTALLER and at the office have secured a solid, efficient and safe solution to install the turbines for Statoil.

By GlobalData"We are very pleased to continue our cooperation and partnership with Statoil for installation of turbines, which started on their first offshore wind project Sheringham Shoal, and now continues on the Dudgeon project."
The Dudgeon wind farm is expected to be commissioned by the end of 2017.
It will generate clean electricity that will be enough to power around 400,000 homes in the UK.
JDR will supply over 95km of copper core inter-array cable and accessories for the project.
The UK government awarded the license for the Dudgeon site in the Round 2 allocation in 2003.
