The project is being developed by Acwa Power and Hassan Allam Holding. Acwa Power, Hassan Allam Holding and Others are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 65%, 25% and 10% respectively.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 1,080,000 households, to offset 2,400,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
